4. Hardware Recommendations *

We generally group small and large NVR Systems by the number of cameras they maintain. However, if the recording specifications of a
15-camera system are aggressive, resulting in a larger Total CIF-FPS, the resources of a typically larger system would be necessary.

Several lab tests have exceeded these results but they were performed in closed, near perfect conditions. The above numbers are taken from actual systems in live use, and are based on the performance and resource consumption of AXIS cameras and video servers used with the system only.
